From the rough structure of the three-storey villa on the pine hill, our client hoped to renovate it and turn it into a resort, but not too ostentatious or imposing. The implementation unit has used the softness, roughness, and flexibility of wood to neutralize and transform the massive project into a symbol of harmony with nature .

When we started to renovate and complete the Teak House project, the villa's current situation at that time was complicated: The construction site was "bruised", and demolition was planned many times from previous design and construction consulting units. The idea of a resort apartment, hidden in nature, was ruined from the very beginning, because of its appearance that was considered too grand, massive, and completely contrary to nature, as if it was not supposed to be located in the forest, but hiding inside it.
The original grandeur of the exterior was boldly designed by the architect, removing one floor, lowering the height, revealing the charming pine trees. The interior had a maximum open core, throughout the space had the wood effect of the floor - walls - ceiling, combining interior details all from wood designed to serve the specific use of this project.

The building at that time was still a pure concrete box. To give the house a natural appearance, wood solutions in landscape architecture were applied by taking inspiration from Teak wood bars who were stacked. When completed, it felt like the whole house iwas filled with grace, thanks to the Teak wooden bars , but above all, it still had gentle and hidden aura, who was not showing off its grandeur, but kept being nestled in the green of the pine forest.
Details related to the wood solution at Teak House were using Teak materials from planted forests, and not using solid wood, but only techniques of salvage and joining pieces with high technology, which both contributed to preserve, conserve, and regenerate planted forests, and at the same time avoid waste in using wood according to traditional manufacturing thinking.

From another perspective, the wood joining technique has been diligently researched, tested and applied by the production and implementation unit of 282 Design, specifically for humid tropical environments.
The advantage of the puzzle piece then became a fixed double "lock" system, helping the wooden surface stay flat and smooth, without warping or deformation in all weather conditions, and in all spaces regardless of the interior and exterior.
Up to now, it has been more than 3 years since the project came into operation, and all wooden details at Teak House are still as stable as when it was completed.

To bring a natural look, Teak House's wooden details, from the ceiling, floor, stairs, cabinets, to th shelves, beds, stoves... are treated with a vegetable oil coming from Germany, which helps protect the wood and body. It is a friendly and safe to use products.
Thanks to that, the interesting colors and characteristic veins in each Teak grain become even more prominent in a natural, pure and origanic way.

The exterior Teak wood solution is combined with artificial stone cladding material, bringing a rustic, friendly and close look. The meticulousness, detail, and seamlessness purety of the wood solution for the house was carried out with this motto in mind: "Every detail is perfection, down to every centimeter."

Finnaly, the landscape Teak House, when completed, bringed the perfect connection between people and nature.
Outstanding in the overall project , the harmoniously balanced treatment of wood helped turning the house into a hidden place as originally desired.
Now, this Teak House was not only a place to go to relax every weekend and to welcome friends, but also to keep our client and his family staying, "hiding" longer with the house over the coming years.
